Sharon's Story
I'm not the skinny toothpick I use to be. I have gained alot of weight the last 10 years. The teacher I would love to see again would be my 5th grade teacher at Salter Elementary. His name was Mr. Frischkorn. Why because he treated me like techers pet. You that know me know I was always acting wild, but one thing I remember is Terri Davis would get in my locker and I would shut the door and walk away. Just far enough to watch others staring at the locker while Terri was pounding on it and screaming to let her out. I got some detention over that one. My first crush moved to Texas right after the 9th grade. I hope they remember me as a very kind and giving person, a little on the crazy side and always causing drama. Fun drama. This is a question that shouldn't be there. I will have to skip it. Not that I'm not happy with whom I'm with but yeah but. My biggest surprise in life was the day I went into labor with my first pregnancy expecting to have 1 baby, but by the time it was over their was 2. No one knew anything about it, especially me. If I had 1 do-over I would of went on to college, made a career for myself, and had more for myself and more to give my children. The weirdest job I ever had was, I was hired by the lady I have my car insurance through to drive her around because she lost her drivers licsense for drunk driving. Okay where have I lived and why did I move. Are you ready for this? I started out living in Burlington, IA, I moved to Rockford, Il with the father of my twins when I...Expand for more
was pregnant. He had a job offer there. I moved backed to Burlington when I was still pregnant, because I couldn't stand it there with his family and him. When the twins were 2 1/2 I moved to Cedar Rapids, IA to get away from the twins father again. I lasted there for a year, and got terribly homesick for mommy and moved backed to Burlington again. Then when the twins were 6 I moved back to Cedar Rapids again. This time it was to escape myself. Well actually get a better qrip on life, I was partying to much. Only lasted 3 months this time. I moved back to Burlington because I started dating Jeannies Dad. After 9 years I had enough of him. And then along game the one and only man for me. My Husband Craig. He was from Cedar Rapids, actually him and his now exwife were my neighbors. He came to Burlington to visit me when Jeannie was 10 and within 3months he moved me and Jeannie to BLAIRSTOWN, IA. A town I never heard of about 30 miles from Cedar Rapids. Man I hated it there, but he worked at Kinze Manufacturing right outside of Williamsburg, IA. You've probably have seen it on your way to Des Moines. It's on Interstate 80W on the right hand side. But anyway BLAIRSTOWN is so small if you go to fast you'll miss it and drive right out of it. I lived there for a year. Then we moved about 7 miles away closer to his job to the stupiest town I have ever been to MARENGO, IA, and that is where I have been for the last 8 years. It's like 30 miles from Iowa City and 30 miles from Cedar Rapids. End of story
