Georgia's Story
Life
Well, I haven't quite grown up yet. I am, however, married. To Carl, most of you who would bother to look at this know who he is. It will be 4 years this June. No kids... yet. I live in Lockport, IL now. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat, and I am fairly happy in my life.
School
Time to change this again, every day I remember new things about school. Both good and bad. But I have to say some of the best memories are from that Band Room at East where I practically lived my sophmore and junior years. But the best memories I have, would have to be Oklahoma!, and running away from the teacher in cowboy boots.
College
College was/is a playground. My first taste was living in those dorms in '00-'01. Man, sliding across the BUB stage on my knees while playing Milphidippa, that was something else. And then the gorilla suit at JJC, I think when the director asked if someone wanted to wear it he wasn't really expecting a "yes"....Expand for more
And those nice girls down in Texas, I'm sure they're all great nurses by now. But as for me, I'm going back this fall, maybe it's time to grow up and choose a career... Maybe not.
Workplace
After holding jobs as a Security Gaurd, a drive thru attendent, a piercing apprentice/receptionist, sandwich maker, and a private housekeeper, I have decided to take a break from work to just stay at home and be a wife to Carl. I'll probably be looking for a new job this coming fall.
Military
Well, I wasn't in the military, but Carl was in the Army, D-787th MP for basic to 89th MP in Ft. Hood. So I guess I mind as well have been in too. I can polish boots with just water and a lighter and iron a crease into a uniform without using a half can of starch and roll sleeves and form a hat like nobody's busines. I can say the military alphabet and know most ranks by looking at them. Like I said, I mind as well have been in anyway.
