David's Story
Life
Served in Air Force 1975-1977, doing biomedical research.
Married Gisele A. Greenhaw, physician, in 1981. She died March 6, 2006. Adopted Alana in 1989. She died in 1998 at age 9 in surgery.

Military
I did biomedical research. I learned a lot. I enjoyed the work. I didn't like the regimentation, but it goes with the territory. I saw a lot of guys who lacked self discipline improve from their military experience. It was also nice to have a steady paycheck you could count on.
