Jess's Story
Life
After high school, I went into the Army. I was on active duty for only a year for training. I returned home to serve in the Army Reserve. I met my wife in 1993 and married in 1994. We purchased a house in McDonough. I became a police officer with the City of Hapeville in 1996. I stayed with them for two years and severved as a member of their SWAT Team. e Department in 1998. I am on their SWAT Team and am team leader of team two. I became a Detective in 2002. I got activated back into the Army in 2003 for Iraqi Freedom. I returned back to work with Henry County Police Department as a Detective in 2004. In March of 2005, I was promoted to Sergeant.
In 2006, I got a divorce. I'm in a much better place. I will be in Iraq in November with the US Army.
