Robert's Story
Had a full two-yr. ride to OCC but stayed only one yr. Fell in love and dropped out and started working. In 76 moved to IN, able to get my dream job, firefighter. Spent 21 yrs. at Carmel, IN, retired as Capt. in 98. Took job as Fire Chief in NC for 2 yrs. Left job and went to school for Culinary Arts. What a blast. Also completed by AAS in Public Safety. linary went to NC A&T for BS in OSH. Got job teaching at Guilford Tech. Comm. Col. in the Fire Protection program. Got 2nd AAS in Emergency Preparedness and now am serving as Interim Fire Program Coordinator. Married 35 yrs., two children and two grandchildren. Love to ride my Harley. Wife rides a Honda. All the kids ride as well. Enjoying life, for the most part.
