Betty's Story
Life
Have been married twice. 1st time for 20years. Then single for about 10 years before meeting present husband (Larry) and we have been married for 8 years. Between the two of us we have 7 children (5 his and 2 mine). Have 12 grandchildren between the two of us.
After leaving Chattahoochee, we moved to Ft. Gaines, GA. I finished high school there and then went to college at Georgia Southern College for 2 1/2 years before getting married the first time.

d to Sumter, SC where I have been living for the past 35 years. Both my children live here in town. One of Larry's lives with us and the others live across the country here and there.
Larry plans to retire again in 1 year and we will then travel in our trailer and motorcycle.

Workplace
Worked off and on for the past years. Two years ago, I quit full time and now work parttime (Tues, Wed, Thurs) for pocket money for Midlands Technical College in Columbia,SC.
