Susan's Story
I finally graduated from college....it only took 42 years! I have lived in Georgia since 1974 and now feel like a Southerner. I have 3 sons. The oldest is married. He and his wife are both teachers and they are expecting their first child, a boy, in September. The middle son is a fireman/EMT/member of the Georgia Army National Guard. rving in Afghanistan. My youngest is in college. Hopefully he will graduate next year and hopes to fly helicopters in the Army.
My husband of 33 years passed away in March of 2008. The past year and a half has been difficult but I've kept myself busy finishing my undergrad degree, beginning a new career as a special educator, starting the masters program in special education, and playing with grandchildren.
