I received my B.Mus. in composition from DePaul University in 1979. My compositions include works for soloists, chamber and rock ensembles, electronics and film. I've also arranged for musical theater. As a performer, I've appeared as a member of chamber, rock, and jazz groups, both in concert and on recordings. I was an original member of the Kamikaze Horns, and have backed artists such as Little Anthony, Freddy "Boom Boom" Cannon, Lou Christie, Danny and the Juniors, The Del Vikings, The Diamonds, The Drifters, Leslie Gore, Bobby Lewis, The Platters, Del Shannon, and The Shirelles.
