Scott's Story

Life After York, I attended and graduated from St. Louis University in 1984 with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. In 2003, I earned my MBA from Baker University in Wichita,KS. I have worked for a number of airplane companies over the years. I have done some pretty "cool" things like working on Air Force One and the Navy's stealth bomber. I still fly at work but not as much for "fun" as I would like. I miss the days of ditching my last class so I could get out to DuPage Airport and shoot "touch and goes". My fondest memories of High School are wild bus rides home with Paul Yousif, cruising the streets of Elmhurst with Tom Sullivan. How could if forget the late-great Mr. Del...Expand for more
bert Meitz's math class and Charle Henninger's aviation class? I also remember ditching class to go to the late great "Elmhurst Bowl" on 10-cent/per line Monday's. I hope that life has been good to you all. My God, where has the time gone? Currently, I manage the Production Support Engineering department at Piper Aircraft in Vero Beach, Florida. It's a very quiet community on the Atlantic coast about 80 miles southeast of Orlando. I still fly a little bit but it's mostly on "sick" airplanes that don't want to be delivered to customers. I recently got married to a wonderful woman whom I met at Piper. She is my lover and my best friend and I feel very fortunate to have her in my life.
