Chris's Story

PRESENT Retired from Université de Montréal. Do a lot of travelling. Speak various languages, always learning new ones and trying to maintain or repair the rusty ones. Family is very important, children Louis and Cathy, and grandchildren Mia, Aaron and Luke. Many friends, many good times, many daily joys... punctuated by occasional upsets, most notably divorce from Johanne and death (cancer) of Madeleine. Present status single, but not looking too hard just now. Too busy.

Life
I teach at the Université de Montréal, live in south shore Longueuil, married to Johanne Rasmussen, who went to Central. We met at Western, both worked at Expo '67, got married in 69, house in 74, kids in 76 (Louis) and 79 (Cathy), both now on their own, making us empty-nesters. Pretty happy with life, work, kids. We often go back to London to see family and friends, still have both sets of parents with us, touch wood.
