Alexandra's Story
Life
I moved to Milwaukee a week after graduation. I've been here ever since, except for 4 months I was down in Texas. Not married, no kids.
I would have to say the best thing I ever did was move out of central Wisconsin. I could never imagine living in the country or a small town like that again. I've actually given thought recently to move out to NYC, but who knows what the future holds, right?
School
Would I do high school over again? HELL NO. You couldn't get me back in a room with our class again for more than 3 hours!
College
College....hmm....I did attempt to go for Police Science, but dropped out ...Expand for more
when I realized that it really wasn't what I wanted to do. Too bad I didn't figure it out before my last semester and all those student loans!!
Ok....now we're going for Forensic Science. Hey...we're still young. We've got years to figure it out!
Workplace
My job is great. Pays the bills and I enjoy what I do.
I have also recently started bartending nights along with my office job. That's even more fun. The only time that I think working 70-80 hours a week is crazy is as I'm laying down to get 2 hours of sleep between getting home at 4 am from the bar and then getting up at 6 am to get to my full time job.
