Cheri's Story
Life
Wow, I would need a book to write about everything that's gone on since high school! My life took some turns that led me down a path that I didn't anticipate, but it has been a fun one.
After having gone to 5 different schools in 4 years of high school  By the time I got to the last one, I just wanted out  I took my GED and bailed. I then made a few bad attempts at community college, but I was in too much of a party phase, so I did what any fun lovin' party girl would do, and moved to Palm Springs (well, it was a party town back then). Anyway, at 23 I got pregnant and a lot changed after that!
I finally did go back to school, and got my degree in Food and Nutrition in Business. After living in Phoenix for 7 years, I moved to San Luis Obispo. My daughter has since graduated from SLO High and is doing well at the local c.c. SheÂs smart, friendly, beautiful, super cool, and has a smile that lights up a room. She has an awesome boyfriend who has all of the same - which makes mom very happy! She works and goes to school and is absolutely my best friend in this world!!
...Expand for more
IÂve been married 3 times, so that hasnÂt been a great track record for me, but I make a decent living, have a little condo, and enough good friends to keep me sane!
So, yeah, it's been an interesting road! If you knew me at LCD, you'd also know I had a brother and a sister there also. Vince is now my sister Jenna, so that's been an interesting experience, and Lisa pursued professional golf for many years and is now starting her own business selling promotional items to golf tournaments and college events.
Having changed schools so much, I didnÂt stay in touch with any of my old friends, and some of them were really cool and special to me. First and foremost: Kelly Carlin  you will never know how much your friendship and family impacted my life! I will love you always! There were some other girl friends too Â
, Sheri K., Piper R., Liz K., Maria C. and the boys Â
oh yeah Â
John A., Grant B., Steve A., and many more Â
Well, if anyone reads this who remembers me or would like to get in touch, please try .... If not  IÂve got some good memories!
Take care all!
