John's Story
Wow;
Here goes the story-
After Wheaton I enrolled in Montgomery College. I obtained an associate degree in criminal justice.
In 1971 I joined the Montgomery County Police Dept. I am now retired from the Department after 31 years -19 of which I served in plain clothes as a member of a special assignment team...Expand for more

In 1972 I married Caryn Ackerman-From Einstein High School. We have three children and now seven grandchildren.
We live in Frederick, Maryland where we raise horses and dogs. We also have parrots and an assortment of barn cats.
Although "retired", I keep busy with our horses and training horses for others.
