Sarah's Story

Life Sarah Owens Hammock here...teaching 4th grade in Bradenton, selling real estate with Libby in my hometown...have two beautiful daughters, 19 and 23. Seperated & HAPPY. Have travelled to Australia/New Zealand. Reconnecting with my close friends from CHS. Still go to all the FSU games, because once a 'Nole always a 'Nole! Would love to hear from friends and classmates. School What I remember most about CHS was the great people I got to know. I don't think there was anyone I disliked there. Remember Dee Hawthorne welcoming me my first months there and am forever grateful for her for that. Remember Mary Jo, Shirley, Debra, Mary Jane, Cindy, Dee, Rainbow, Margie, and Charlsie making days fly by with great freindships. College Attended Gulf Coast Community College with Debra Daugette. Then to FSU to become a lifelong Seminole. Graduated with a BS in Elementary Education. Got to Orlando and while there, graduated from UCF with a BS in Business Management. nd working now with a publisher for my second. I have others that are not children's books, currently being edited. Workplace Quick resume.....Teaching for my 13 year here in Bradenton...2 more on top of that back in my hometown right after graduation. Worked in Operations with a Trucking Firm, pool company and landscaping company in Orlando. Then went to work for Lockheed Martin for 10 years before moving to Bradenton. Began my real estate career 3 years ago....part time, chose to let that go when the downturn happened. I ride motorcycles with a local ladies group that also raises monies for charities locally. Military The Army didn't want me, the Air Force didn't want to chance my flying prowess, the Marines thought I was too over the top, I get sea sick sometimes so the Navy said no way, the Coast Guard was the same as the navy! Somebody in God's Army comes by my house regularly to try to sway me via the Watchtower, but I "ain't" biting. Just suffice it to say, NO MILITARY SERVICE WHATSOEVER. But proud of those that did and do serve!
