Jude's Story
Life
I am happily married to David. We have been together for 20 years. I have 2 daughters, Tanya (married to Hyuk) and Tara (married to Joel). I have 4 wonderful grandsons, Cam, Elijah, Matthew and Parker and one granddaughter, Presley who was born on June 26, 2015 and lives in Irvine, California with Tara and Joel. They are the joy of my heart.
School
I had several "favorite" teachers, however I'm sure I was NOT their favorite student!
Mr. Glenn was awesome, I learned alot from him that I never realized! I use it in seminary to this day! Mr. Lindmark was compassionate. He was my favorite English teacher ever. Mr. Nordstrom - I'm SO sorry I caused so much trouble in your class!! Let's say...art was NOT my thing! (actually...neither was school then!) Herr Kauls was my most intimidating teacher! I still can say "my mother is sick today" in German. Haha! Mr. Swanson - wow - the Bible teaching that you did still sticks with me today! Thank you so much! I was sooo rebellious!

in high school even though I had 3 different high schools. I still consider M.A. my school.
But actually - there was no more favorite teacher of mine than Don Borgeson. Don - you taught me many things that I have used in my life, the most important one being discipline (in a good way!) Thank you for being a man of integrity and patience!
College
I graduated Seminary from The Master's Institute in Roseville, MN in 2007 with my M.Div.. I finally answered a call that I should have answered years ago. I am hoping to go on to get my Doctorate in Theology.
I served as lead pastor at Silverton Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls and was the Worship Leader at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Thief River Falls. I was grateful to be used in this capacity since music is one of the gifts that God has given me. I recently retired, but of course, not from furthering the Gospel.
Workplace
I was in the insurance industry for 40 years.. I was employed at Fireman's Fund, Landahl Agency, RJR Insurance Agency, Al Ancheta Agency and Jay Swanson Agency.
