Duane's Story

Life Hey everyone! remember me? Dewey? Well as most of you know; i married Marsha Holly right after she graduated in 1989. We R now divorced as of August 2004, but we actually split up in July of 2002. Well that's a long story, but the best thing of all is we have 3 beautiful children together. Our oldest daughter, Amanda will be 15 next month (7-05) Then there's our 10yr old daughter, Myranda. And last but not least there's our 7yr old son. Duane C. Broadwell the 3rd. Yup...Another Dewey!! I just had to have my name carried on! Any how they are all gorgeous kids-of course! They all go to Genessee Valley School in Belmont. I am currently living here in good old Friendship again! Yeah i know..What the Hell for right?? One thing I have noticed for sure is this town these days is dead! At least back in the 80's our generation made it come alive a little! I work full time now at a factory over in Bolivar called Heritage Cutlery. They make scissors there not Knives. But we do some things for Alcas(Cutco) Cutlery. I really like my job there. I plan to stay right there till whenever. I make a pretty decent wage and have decent benefits so why not right? I usually have my kids every other weekend and 1-2 weeknights as well. They are my world! and truly the most important thing in my life! Of course Marsha and i have joint custody set up. And we are cordial and get along ok, for the kids sake anyways. She is with someone else (that was kind of, part of the reason 4 our split up) But anyways, I have remained single! I was enjoying it 4 awhile but now I would like to find someone to start a long term relationship with. I have been single almost 3 yrs. now and believe me after that much time without a significant other in your life it definately gets old! I know i didn't actually graduate in 1988, Hell, i didn't graduate at all, I was a too cool jerk and dropped out! As som...Expand for more
e of you may remember, I quit school in March of 1986 but what most of you don't know is I took my GED in November of 1987. And 4 all of you's who thought i wasnt very bright i'll have you know that I aced the GED with almost a perfect score! I was stupid like alot of people and was more interested in partying and trying to be cool instead of caring about my education! But some people just gotta learn the hard way! and that has always been me. I actually should of originally graduated in 1986 but i had been held back in 7th grade back in 1981 when we 1st moved to Friendship. Then when i started going to Friendship in the middle of the school yr of 83-84 i was in 9th and failed that at FCS. So then had to repeat 9th over again in the 84-85 school year. Then I finally passed 9th (except for 9th grade english) Mrs. Raiff..what a bi*#*! Any how i moved on to 10th in the 85-86 school year which was when i met Marsha and we started going out together. Well Mazur kicked me out 4 the rest of the yr. in March of 86 4 skipping school so much! He told me i could return in Sept. of 1986 to repeat 10th over again, and i said forget it cause i was gonna be 18 in Sept. of 1986. So i wouldn't of graduated till i was almost 21! So Mazur just put it down on record that i quit. And the rest is history!! Anyways, if there is anyone at all out there who knew me and you are interested in getting a hold of me i am not a paying member so you can look for me in the land of yahoo. I would love to hear from just about anyone from the past! Ecspecially if your a single woman whom I knew from FCS Between the years of say 1985-1995. Well as u probably have guessed it, I am not currently a paying member here. I used to be a couple yrs. ago. But I will be pretty soon again. Well I do hope to hear from someone soon! I hope to hear from anyone!! Ya'll take care now! Duane C. Broadwell Jr. (DEWEY)
