Mary's Story
Life
after living in Michigan for 30+ years we started spending winters in Florida and finally bought a house in Sun City Center. But a couple of years ago we moved close to Orlando to be near our son as I needed help with his Father. Three days after Christmas he died.
In August I came to Michigan to visit my son and family only to find the day I arrived she was told she had a very agressive form of breast cancer. I went on to my sisters in Dayton, Ohio and from there we drove to Portsmouth for a reunion picnic for 1955 plus other who joined in. Very nic...Expand for more

Coming back to Dayton I had a call from my son asking if I could back and help. They have a baby plus two older children and things were getting desperate, even with the super help of their church, neigborhood, friends and family.
Even though chemo is entering into the second 12 weeks (different kind) I am heading back to Florida. I may be back for surgery but only time will tell.
2013 update.
In spite of only given a 20 percent chance my daughter in law is now well and last year she started teaching again.
I am still in Apopka, Fl near one of my sons.
