Carole's Story
Life
After living in Northern California much of my life, last year I accepted a promotion that took me to Central Texas. I brought my mother & grandson with me, and my daughter and her husband soon followed. My son lives in Fernley, NV, and his daughter lives in Tracy, CA. I live in a quaint village halfway between Austin and Waco, and work in the Organizational Development Department at our our corporate office. My home sits on a hill and looks...Expand for more
out over the village, and at night, when the lights are on, it is beautiful. My sister lives close enough that I am able to see her quite often. Prior to my promotion, I was on the road constantly, facilitating training in our west coast region. Thinking that I was a little on the lonely side after my transition, my sister and mother bought me 2 miniature schnauzers. I don't know about the lonliness part, but I can honestly say, I am never bored.
