Margaret's Story
Life
I graduated from LSC in 1999 with a Bachelors in Accounting and moved to Weymouth, Massachusetts to take a position with State Street in Quincy as a Fund Accountant. After a year and a half, I decided to pursue my original intentions of working in public accounting. I learned of an opening in Berlin, NH through a college friend I had kept in touch with, who was working for a firm there. After moving to Berlin in February 2001, he and I began seeing each other immediately and we were engaged June 2, 2001. Roger changed jobs in August 2002 to work for Garnet...Expand for more
Hill in Franconia as an accountant; I was able to transfer to the Littleton office of the same firm I was working for. We married August 24, 2002 aboard the M/S Mt. Washington on Lake Winnipesaukee, and spent a week long honeymoon in Cancun. Shortly after, we sold our house in Berlin and moved to Littleton. We purchased land in Bethlehem in Sept 2003 and we moved into our home, which we designed and served as our own general contractor, on Oct 23rd, 2004. On October 19, 2009 I became a licensed CPA and continue to work for the same firm I started with in 2001.
