Melissa's Story
Life
I live in South Georgia and have three wonderful children, Emily, Jay, and Natalie. I am single...again. Life for me is hectic, busy, often overwhelming, but greatly rewarding. I am truly blessed, though I do have to remind myself of that sometimes, lol.
I am legally diabled, and have been for 16 years now. However, I have the awesome opportunity of doing some photography and painting to bring in extra funds. (My financial ends don't always meet, so this definitely helps.) I have photographed birthday parties, family reunions, weddings, children, prom photos, senior portraits, and even cats and dogs. traits. My favorite part of this job is having people tell me that my shots were the best pictures they have ever had taken of themselves. (I took all the photos of my children in my album.) As far as painting goes, I have painted murals on the interior walls of several of our local businesses and homes. I was even offered a job being a full-time muralist in the St. Simon's-Sea Island area. While this was more than tempting, I declined because of keeping life stable for my children. I'm certainly not the most prolific of painters, but my customers are happy :) I have made an album of some of my work. Take a look if you have time.
