Mary Frances's Story
07/08/2012 This is the picture that was used in our yearbook. I was 16 when it was taken.
05/18/2012 The picture was taken 07/15/2011 in my front yard by a friend. All my daylilies were in bloom. My daughter and family are staying with me for a while. All is well.
11/08/2011 The picture: this is Papa, my wild Keeshond. I loved him maybe because of all the trouble he got us into. This picture is about 7 years old, but I love it.
08/13/11 Added more photos. My sister visited me from DC for a week, and my daughter, Julie, is here with her husband and kids, 6 & 8. Bad week on Wall St.

d like a little lamb. She won an award in North Conway's "Bark in the Park" day -- Best Tri-color! She's the only Keeshond I ever had who did not need a leash, always stayed with me. I got her when she was 2 from a family in NJ who had too many animals. Very frisky. Driving home from NJ, she sat in the passenger seat with her back to me the whole way! I loved her, she was my baby, and made me laugh. She lived to be 12.5 years old, had a tumor. I got her the same time I got Papa, so they were companions.
06/05/11 Fran with Papa, who introduced me to the police, the animal control officer and the animal shelter. He was most beloved and fiercely loyal. He died a natural death the first day I was in NC. Never knew how old he was, but I had him for 11 years after getting him from Keeshond rescue.
