Michelle's Story
My early life was one of constant moving. My Dad raised registered cattle and later managed farms all over the country. I was born in Columbia, Mo, and moved to Monett, Mo in 1961. My dad owned a farm, and I attended school there (K-4). In 5th grade, I moved to Oklahoma and attended schools in Pryor, Sapulpa, Vinita, and Big Cabin. In Sept, 1968, I moved with my family to Easton, MD, where I completed 8th and 9th grades. At the end of 9th grade my Dad took a job in Ozark, Mo. I attend Ozark High and graduated in 1973.
After leaving Ozark, I attended college in Springfield at both Drury and Southwest Mo State. Then in 1975, I moved to Florida with my family and graduated from Florida State in Tallahassee in 1978 with a B.A. in English with an education minor.

ing, I moved to Ocala, FL. I have taught in various positions there over the years: middle, elementary and high school and returned to school to get certifications in elementary ed., social studies, and special ed. My last 3 years have been spent in teaching autistic children. I have been married since 1980 to Chris George, a hair stylist. I have 2 grown daughters, Katie and Christy. Katie is a pharmacist, married with two daughters, Peyton and Paige. Christy graduated in Aug., 2009 from FSU with a degree in Humanities and works for the State of Florida. She got married in Nov., 2010
As you can see, I've been busy. I'm hoping to slow down and one day travel to Ireland. My hobbies are genealogy research and playing with my granddaughters. If you remember me, sent me a line...
