Lorie (Campbell)'s Story
Life
(Updated 07/29/09) I have lived in Arkansas since January 1991 after moving from Hawaii. I am married and have one son who received his BA in Film/Communications and working on his Masters program--will graduate May 2010!! Also graduating in May 2010 is from highschool is my daughter and stepdaughter. I also have a stepson who will be in the 9th grade. All of them live with me/us.
I have worked for the govt. under Health and Human Services, Food and Drug Administration for 18 years and also have over 4 years of military service in the US Army.
Workplace
I work at a research facility where I am one of two newly appointed Accounts Payable Team Leads. We have satellite organizations across the country with my staff being in Dallas, Arkansas and the Northeast Region.
Military
One of the best things I did in life before starting a family. I loved it. If you want more information about what I did--just email me!
Personal
I always wanted to be a private investigator when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea idea. As it turns out, they were right, ...Expand for more
but I have to wait until I get close to retiring in a few years.
Travel
I have lived in 5 different states since graduation -- NC, AL, TX, IN, HI and now in AR. I joined the military a year after graduation; moved to Ft. McClellan, AL for basic training and my Advanced Individual Training (AIT);transferred to Ft. Hood, TX where I completed my contract (+3 mos); then on to Hawaii for four years as a military dependent; and landed in AR in Jan.'91. I've been here ever since to keep from moving my children around. My 'baby' graduates this year--then I'm not sure what life has in store for me!
The Past
I have many wonderful memories of Spring Lake and Fayetteville. If there is anyone I would like to see anyone from Jr/Sr high school days--who didn't get to graduate at PFSH; it would be folks like Eddie Coffman, Dywayne Anglin, Susan Brown and Diane Charboneau. I would also love to see Richard Coates, brother of our former classmate and good friend--Nancy Coates who we lost in our sophomore year to a horrible, tragic death. Rest in peace, Nancy. I still miss you!
