Linda's Story
Life
I live in the Oklahoma City area with my husband Scott and my 12-year-old son Logan. He is a great student and loves baseball & fooball, is learning guitar and has a quirky sense of humor. My daughter Allison died of cancer in August of 2003 when she was almost 3; she'd be 8 right now. Nine months after we lost her, I was diagnosed with lymphoma and am currently in remission. Neither of these cancers run in families. We helped establish a children's cancer charity in my daughter's name called Ally's House. You can search the web for it. We are proud of her and how her life is making a difference in the lives of others.
So, I have two jobs: one as the Director of Member Services of the Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System (state agency) and I am the Executive Director of Ally's House too. My degree is in P.R., so I u...Expand for more

We are very involved in church, and I am working hard to stay healthy. My husband Scott is a terrific guy and we're blessed with a good marriage. If any of you come through Tornado Alley down here, stop in and say hi.
For those of you who were in my dad's class in high school, he and my mom are doing great and he is enjoying his retirement. Both of them are in good health and living in Lancaster. My big brother Dave is a Farmer's agent in Lancaster. I'm sure he'll be happy to sell you a policy if you need insurance! My big sister Dawn is living near the Oklahoma panhandle, working as a small-town Postmaster and worrying about her grown kids.
