Life
My Spouse
I met my husband while on a business trip in Baton Rouge, LA. He had arrived to meet his boss to continue on to New Orleans for a meeting but a hurricane was coming toward the Baton Rouge-New Orleans area and he had to stay the night. His boss talked me into having dinner with him and after we went to the hotel bar for a drink and found ourselves dancing to the band. After I returned to Chicago, he continued to call me and his boss would make up reasons why he had to fly to Chicago. A year later we were married.
My Kids
Sean is my oldest (17 yrs) he is a clown but a good student and plays the tenor sax and is on the varsity tennis team.
Justin is my 15 yr old step-son. He is quiet, shy and a junior varsity football player.

My Job
I traffic and bill local commercials which air on cable television. I work with a group of people who, over the years, have become more like family than co-workers. My job itself is no longer very challenging (I've been there nine years) but, the people I work with do make life more interesting and a definite challenge.
Workplace
I am currently a Business Manager for a local weekly tabloid-style newspaper. I also write a book review column for the paper and do advertising writing in the form of "Business Profiles." One thing we all learned how to do better than most at NTW was write! It has really come in handy allowing me not only to use the detail oriented part or my personality but also, the creative side of me. Feels great to have a job where I can actually utilize a more well-rounded version of myself on a daily basis.
