James's Story

Life Hi Everyone! It’s almost 36 years since graduation. Does not seem possible! I enrolled at West Virginia University in 1972 and (finally) completed an electrical engineering degree in 1977. Continuous work since then: Occidental Petroleum, Consol Energy, American Electric Power. In 2002, I started my own business in Morgantown WV! I am still married to the former Katherine Boliner. (GHS Class of 1970) Some of you may remember her little sister Mary Ellen, (Class of 1973) We live in Morgantown. One Son, Ian, 25 years old and married. I'm not a Grampy! (Yet) My Son is employed in the business! All my relatives from Grafton are gone. Dad passed away in 1993. Mom passed away in 2005. My only sister Patricia (GH...Expand for more
S Class of 1963) also lives here in Morgantown. Kathy's mom and Sister are still in Grafton, We live a very plain and conventional life style. I own a home in downtown Morgantown with one cat and a backyard full of birds. The business keeps me fully occupied. I do electrical consulting and construction for heavy industry; primarily coal. So anyone, feel free to write. The only people I've seen since from our class since graduation are Janie Taylor, Debbie McWilliams, Darlene Haveneer, Debbie Haddix, Joe Gennette, Karen Manley, Robin Lucas, Paul Kines, Judy Efaw, and "Pee Wee" Roger Patterson! Anyone thinking of a reunion? We missed our 30th. Everyone must be flung to the "four corners" I can help organize! Jim
