Stephanie's Story

Life Alright, so we're supposed to brag about what we've accomplished since high school right? Okay, so I got knocked up and married my second cousin. Since then, I've popped out 3 more kids and got arrested twice. Just Kidding! I'm 22. I'm a marketing coordinator for a real estate investment firm (I make more than $30 grand a year working part time). Even though I don't need the money and I don't have a lot of time, I do freelance graphic and web design for networking reasons. I also sell Avon. I'm starting my fifth year at UWF. I have one year left before I graduate with a double major: Criminal Justice and Advertising. I've been with my husband, Levi, for two and a half years. He built me a house and we got married in June. He owns a 3rd generation family roofing and demolition business. He's going to PJC to get his Business Degree and he's very cute! lol We spend our very little free time at my beau's fave eating spot, Olive Garden, and we spend our weekends in different cities since we've grown bored of Pensacola. I'm sure I'm not the only one on the prowl for something interesting to do on my weekends so here is a list of things we've done to give you ideas: Six Flags New Orleans - it's less than 3 hours away (if you speed) and tickets are $25 a day or $50 for season passes Biloxi's the Beau Rivage - Amazing entertainment and great restaurants. I recommend skipping the 3 mile long buffet line and going to Cafe Le Jardin - they...Expand for more
have great chicken sandwiches. We went to see Taganai in 2004 and Ezuru (a much better show) in 2005. Tickets are extremely reasonable (about $30 per person) and still well worth it. Destin's Fudpuckers with Gator Beach - It's a Fudpucker's Restaraunt (bring a permanent marker to sign your name on the walls) and it has an alligator zoo/museum thing. You can even feed the gators raw meat on a fishing pole. Sandestin's Silver Sands Factory Outlet Stores - a change from Foley - and The Village of Baytowne Wharf - a quiet, upscale shopping and dining experience inside the Sandestin Resort. Check their website for events. They have concerts and festivals, like the Driven Film Festival we went to last year. Not the best films but the Village was worth the drive. I know it's kind of out of the way, but The Mall of America in Minneapolis, MN is a must shop. We spent 2 days quickly browsing and we only got through 2 of the 3 floors. We also went to the indoor amusement park - the spinny coaster is awesome. Eat at the Rainforest restaurant - it's quite an experience with thunderstorms every 20 minutes during your meal and volcano deserts that nearly set the table on fire. Also visit the NASCAR Arcade. It's the most realistic racecar game I've played! I'm not paying for Classmates.com membership so if you want me to know what you're up to, email it to me. And send me your entertainment ideas - I'm now growing bored with the Gulf Coast Region.
