April 2016 My how time flys....We moved back to the USA January 2014. After 18 months in Kingman, Arizona found that it was way too hot to deal with. October of 2015 we moved to Fort Payne, Alabama. Have a small acreage and are really enjoying the area. Very similar to the PDX/Willamette Valley. Nice to have 4 seasons, a place to grow a garden, and not hemmed in on all sides by people. Still have to sell the big house in Costa Rica - anyone interested in buying let me know and any one that finds me a buy will get a 5% finders fee!! Have had the chance to reconnect with a few classmates since returning to the USA, but would love to hear from more of you. Looking forward to our 50th reunion. March 2012 Another update is in order here: Darryl and I sold our southern property and moved back to Palmares. I have arthritis in my knees. Had to have another surgery on my right knee, looking a knee replacements in about 5 yrs for sure. Long story short the property was too up and down for me to walk to my veggie garden or get up to the coffee finca to pick so we came back up here. Our first house is still rented because it is 2 story and stairs are a bit hard for me to climb. We bought a one level house in the same subdivision. Moved in in Sept 2011. Doing a touch of remodeling but mostly just painting. Settling in. Have more friends here to socialize with. Town in 1 kilometer away instead of 6. The weather is more temperate . Enjoyed our 40th class reunion but would love to hear from classmates/school friends of other years.
