Doreen's Story
Life
hi,
my name is doreen langley (patterson). most of you probably won't remember me since i was very shy and quiet in school. i lived in ohio in the barberton/akron area until i was in seventh grade. i moved to naples, florida with my family at that time.
i went to hazelwood elementary from 2nd to 6th grade and then for a half of a year at portage junior high. before that i lived in the akron area.
i have lived in naples since coming here with my family in 1972.
i got married to my high school sweet heart right after graduating from naples high school in 1978 and have been married for almost 26 years now. we have one son that will be 22 in a couple weeks and twin daughters that are 17.

in june. we are all very excited! i can't wait to be a grandma!
i worked at a land title company for 23 years as a production supervisor until recently when i quit work to stay home for the first time since being married and having my own home.
i love staying at home and can always find things to keep busy. my husband owns his own plumbing company so he keeps very busy with that and also loves racing his car at the drag strip on the week ends.
i miss the changing seasons that we had in ohio and also miss the snow at christmas time.
i still have some family in the barberton area so i have been back to visit many times since moving to florida over thirty years ago.
