Brenda's Story

Life I am married (20 years this month). We have a girl and a boy. Brianne is 18 and Brandon 16. They both go to school in Patagonia. It is smaller than Hayden, if you can believe that. 22 seniors in Brianne's class this year. 100 students in the school. When I graduated I moved away and kind of disappeared. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was a senior. I moved to Snowflake and worked up there for 2 years. The ranch that we had lived on in Dripping Springs all of our lives sold and my parents moved to Sonoita where both of them had grown up. My grandfather had passed away my senior year and left the Sonoita ranch to my mom. One year after they moved down here my mom died. I had moved back home to be with my family that last year. I met my husband during that time. We dated for 2 1/2 years before we got married. He is from Patagonia. We will forever be here. I started my own business 14 years ago. ted helping me out with the courier business . We are subcontrators for most of the major courier companies in southeast Arizona plus we have our own accounts. We take care of all of the banks excluding Bank of America in the southern part of the state. Safford, Morenci, Duncan, Willcox, Benson, Sierra Vista, Ft. Huachuca, Bisbee, Douglas, Tombstone, Sonoita, Patagonia, Nogales, Green Valley, Tucson, and 3 trips to Phoenix per day. We work for several medical and vet labs. We've just moved into the Tucson area in the last year doing all of the Compass Banks and about half of the Wells Fargo branches. We have no time for anything but work. I hope to change that soon. We have 16 people helping us out but still need a couple more. Business has been good, but we have almost trippled in size in the past year and need to slow down and enjoy life more. Hope all of you and your families are doing well. Feel free to keep in touch. It may take me some time to respond to e-mails, but I would love to hear from any of you. Take care and best wishes to all. Brenda Smith
