Christine's Story

Life I went to Durham High where I partied to much and smoked to much. Haha. I joined the Navy 8 months after shcool and went off to boot camp in Chicago. I was in the Navy for almost 5 years. It was a great experiance. I made lots of great friends and met and married a wonderful guy. We have one child together. His name is Rhiley Blayne and he is a little gift from God. I am a stay at home mom for now. I plan on starting shcool again soon, most likely with a history major. I suppose someday I'll teach. Well that sums it up. I am happy and healthy! School I really dont even like to think back to high shcool. Especially when I realize that its been almost 10 years since I graduated. Also because I would have so many things differently. a mess in high school but everything happens for a reason I suppose. I doing really well now and I beleive thats all that counts! Military I joined the navy in '96. My first ship, the Simon Lake was in Italy. I loved it there and would go back in a heartbeat but the Lake? Talk about drama and BS! I would not repeat that experience. Well maybe but I would do things differently thats for sure. My next ship was the O'Brien out of Yokosuka Japan. I also liked it there though I prefer Europe to Asia. I met my husband there and had my son there. I left the Navy in '01 but my hubby stayed in. We went to San Diego next. I love San Diego, what a perfect city. Now we are at NAS Lemoore where my husband is a MA2. This place is a pit but my husband likes his job and we have a nice place. We are also close to my family, things balance out. Im happy.
