Mary Laura's Story
Life
After graduating for MPB I left Corpus Christi and lived 2 months in Mexico DF, but my parents decided to move to my mom's home country: Ecuador, SA, where I lived 15 years. I graduated from the university as a Computer Engineer, worked 2 years and figured that the way of life over there was not enough to promise a stable future, very difficult to do many things... Got very frustrated and having the opportunities to come back to the states and develop my life over here was my dad's advice since I finished high school. So I said good bye to my parents, picked up my things and moved back. Now I live in Connecticut where (after a year of ups and downs) I am finally beginning my life. I have the family I wanted, a beautiful daughter that is sooo much smarter than me, a wonderful step daughter and an incredible husband!
School
I didn't have much of a crush when I was in school. I was too busy playing around on my bike, with my brother, my toys, climbing trees,...Expand for more
etc. But I still remember my 4th, 5th and 6th grade teachers, whom I appreciate and wish to find them when I go back to Corpus some day hopefully soon. I have emailed Mrs. Etter without any response but I also remeber where they live, and I will eventually visit the school and see how time has really gone by.
College
For college I went to an all girls school (college is highscool in SA) I had a couple of boyfriends that didn't last much. They were very shallow people, interested in going out with a pretty girl, more than seeing what the pretty girl has to offer as a personality, thoughts, etc. I got a degree in Physics - Mathematics with the IB program, which I never got around to use. I graduated one year later, when I was 19 because of the change of country, they pulled me back a year. Let me say that the studies down there are much higher and I had to make a great effort to put myself up to date, without mentioning that it was all completely in spanish!!!
