Michelle's Story
Life
I graduated from O.L.of Loretto in '69 but before me were Pat, George (deceased), and Sheila, while after me were Mark, Marie, and Paula. I attended Bishop McDonnell and graduated in 1973. Always wanting to be a teacher, since Sr. Mary Augustine's 2nd grade class, I majored in Education at L.I.U. (Downtown Brooklyn). After graduating in Jan. fe Insurance Company,attended graduate school at L.I.U. and then took the plunge into teaching in Sept. '78. My first position was as an 8th grade teacher at O.L. of Loretto where I remained until 1986. Then I transferred to Holy Cross school where I still teach.
Along the way, I received my M.S. in Education in '79, married in '81, had Christina in '85, and Angelica in '89.
