Lisa's Story
It's hard to believe that is has been more than 30 years since those good old DHA days. As much as I couldn't wait to start my life after high school back then, I look back and am so thankful for growing up in Plaquemines Parish and having the experiences I did. After high school, I spent nearly 20 years in broadcasting, and worked in North Carolina, Texas and Alabama. y, 18, and Harrison, 15. Life is busy, to say the least, but really wonderful. I am the Director of the Tuscaloosa Sister Cities Commission, a non-profit program that facilitates adult and student exchanges with our two international sister cities, Narashino, Japan and Schorndorf, Germany. I really love it and am proud to be a part of a program that helps promote peace through people. I'd love to hear from any former classmates or DHA graduates who want to write and catch up after all these years!
