Life
Let's see, after wrapping up a BS Biology degree in 4 1/2 years of college at Truman State University, I moved home to work in a field I wasn't qualified for (go figure). I decided to get married to my husband, Chris and complete my teaching certificate, then I went on to teach grades 7-12, in Missouri and Virginia. -home Mom, until we built a house in Liberty and moved back in 2001 while I was pregnant with our second child (yeah no moving heavy boxes for me). Alex was born in 2002, and I continued my career of staying at home, until Ann (Kretchmar) Dugdale and I decided to open a scrapbook store, My Scrapbook Room, in Liberty in November of 2003. Wow, I really never thought I would own part of a business, but I am enjoying every minute of it.
