Life
No more running...well, only running after my 3 boys and wife and business.
School
Saw high school as a chance to shine. Found out, there are a lot of other people out there that were better than me in every way. I loved h/s, but I would have preferred to go to a larger school (went to USC, that was a big school). Should have done many things differently, but we all make mistakes. Hopefully, I have become wiser from having made them. I miss all of you, because I only keep in touch with one or two nowdays (other than marrying Julie Hagthrop, '81).
College
I originally went to Occidental College. I lasted only one trimester, due to my roomate said one day after watching a USC/UW game with me, "man, you are going to the wrong school." I immediately requested a transfer and started at USC that Spring se...Expand for more
mester. I ran track and cross country. I did well. I also majored in Business, which has served me well. Now I have football season tickets. I love USC and always have been and always will be a TROJAN! Fight ON!
Workplace
In 2003, I purchased a manufacturing business from a retiring owner. Our first year we paid off the debt to buy that company. This year ('05), we are in the process of buying another business (same kind) but it is six times our size. Talk about David vs. Goliath! Within a few months, we will begin to acquire our third company. Our plans are to grow nationally like Tyco did (without the scandals). The company is in the injection molding industry, but not limited to it. Our plans are to grow in that field and vertically. We make lots of plastic things, and some things that are not. MADE IN USA!
