Erin Bree's Story
Life
Erin Bree Pierce 30, graduate from The University of Western Ontario with her degree in Voice Performance, is a local voice instructor, choral director, performer and songwriter. Erin Bree was born and raised in Thunder Bay Ontario where she was involved in many productions ranging from leads in Gilbert and Sullivan Light Opera to Musical Theatre to Choral and Solo Classical Works. She was also the Winner of the prestigious Rose Bowl Award in 1995. Erin Bree has studied with Monica Whicher, Mary McGee, Mary-Ellen Gustufson and Thomas Schilling in the past and now holds her own voice studio, right in the heart of Ancaster. a Tenor from London ON, where this duo is gearing up for the opening Performance of the musical "I Do, I Do", to be presented this coming Fall. Erin Bree has performed many solo recitals in the local area and has played lead roles in Theatre Ancaster productions and performed with a Gilbert and Sullivan Society in Toronto. Erin Bree was the founder and Conductor of the Harmony Children's Chorus of Ancaster and has now started a Musical Theatre Program for children with her close colleague, Kim Ellis. Recently Erin Bree has explored her contemporary voice with songwriting. She recorded her first 17 songs and made them available on disk for personal distribution just last year and is very excited to perform some of her lastest compositions at "The Songwriter's Symposium." Erin Bree is also an accomplished cellist and flutist and hopes to someday play in a local Orchestra again soon!!
