School
Well I started out at North School K-2. Cant remember a whole lot there. That school closed., it had the coolest hand wash fountain in the basement.I remember a Mrs. Pegram. She was my 1st grade teacher. Next was Jack Elementary, That school closed too. I remember a Mr. Alquest, a cool gym, and a long walk to school.
Now were at King Middle, a big change and hell of a lot longer walk. I think the bus would have been nice, but rumor had it the bus didnt want to come to Kennedy Park. Well I got my exercise. Mr. Miranda was my home rooom teacher. I can remember when...Expand for more
he grabbed Jason Bachelder out of his desk for talking. He picked him up by the neck and threw him in the hall. I was so scared, because he was talking to me. I thought I was next.
Then there was the great PHS, 2nd oldest high school in the US. As I am sure you all remember I was rather quiet, almost shy. I figured the less friends, the less people would know where I lived, yes I was embaressed living in Kennedy Park. I never had a crush on anyone in high school, Had some male friends, Bobbie Russell, Ronnie& Micheal Chadbourne, Jimmy Langley, but they were all from the same general neighborhood. I often wonder about Kathy Bellino, Karen Dejian (dont think i spelled it right), Barbara O'Mally.... All very cool, and fun to hang with. My thought on High school...It wasnt all that bad, but I wouldnt do it over.
Workplace
I love what I do. Working with patients on a daily basis is rewarding in every way. I really love my job. My husband didnt want me to work, but I enjoy it to much to stop. So we compromised, I only work part time. This has worked out for the both of us. I have been working in the same field of medicine (cardiology)for about 11 years now. I meet a lot of interesting people. I guess I am one of the lucky ones....... I actually like my job :)
