Life
Well here i am at 42 and it seems my life is begining all over. I never did do things by the book why should i start now? I seem to do things a little backwards. Starting in a new relationship and moving to a new town, will be looking for a new job ect.. I have a 19 year old son and a 17 year old daughter ( i feel old saying that). I have been very blessed. Have gone through many life changes after the death of both parents, especially mom (those that knew her will understand). Been married and divorced a few times but i think i might get it right this time (LOL). At this time in my life i feel more comfortable in who i am what i have to offer and really dont care much what others think. I met the man i am with now online which many people think is strange and risky but we are very happy. So i wont end this because my life isnt over yet... next chapter please.... Time to update... Here it is spring the time i'm usually running around the lakes somewhere and enjoying the sun. Now i am working in Seguin. I have a good job and i'm climbing up in a company i havent been with but just a few months. I have been given a nice raise and they are concidering me for yet another promotion. Its nice to know your hard work is paying off. The family is doing well. And i feel like i fit in here now. Though i am so close to where we grew up... i have finally seen one person, i went to school with and we have had lunch together once. Hi Sylvia *waves*
Update* I am no longer working at the store for health reasons, i miss working but dont miss the stress. Now i spend more time online, connecting with friends around the world. I had a vistor from England come stay with us for over 2 weeks this summer, then not long after a friend from Oregon came and spent a week. Great to have them both here and show off what our part of the world has to offer. The friend from Oregon is thinking of moving here, we hope she makes the leap. A friend from Ireland will be stopping for a short visit as he travels thru the states, we look forward to seeing him, this fall. I am again working on a book i started a few years ago, maybe one day it will be finished, i have a friend helping me with it as my ghost writer ( thank you so much). Other news. Have located where in Ireland my family came from and this has really excited me, maybe i can visit Mayo, one day. Anyway thats all for now.. Take care and will keep you all posted!
Workplace
Started this job as just a few hours part time only. HA HA HA i was offered a promotion on my first day. And it went right into full time. I just got a nice raise and now i am being concidered for another promotion. My little part time job is now my full time life. It feels good though working my way up. I love a challenge. I will keep you all posted on my next chapter... Take Care Well I am now the assistant manager and working my tail off. But i do enjoy my job and i get to meet alot of people. Have opened a new store in Seguin downtown the store looks nice and keeps us on our toes. Enjoy the people i work with. Still havent seen anyone i know from school. There are some friends i havent seen or talked to in years i would like to know how they are doing and what they have been up to. pushing what 25 years now? Since we were in school? OMG we are OLD! ok... well 3 years later... I'm now 45. My daughter graduated from high school 2 years ago. My son is going to be a daddy. I did get married and think i've finally got it right this time. I no longer work at that store. I spend most of my time out in the yard or inside on the computer. My husband is a very hard worker and doesn't have much free time. I have a bunch of critters. I finally decided i would give this thing a try for a few months and see if it does help to connect with some old friends. I now have contact with Lori, who i had been looking for but managed that one on my own. Sylvia and i did have some contact for a while but shes vanished and i have no idea where she is or how to contact her or why she vanished. I just hope all is well with her. I'm very excited about having a grandbaby once again to spoil. I have 4 step grand-daughters but to me there is no step in that. Although it may not be my blood i couldnt love them anymore that i do now and miss them terribly since they moved to Florida. I notice that some of my classmates and friends have seemed to age a little more gracefully that i feel i have. But i've earned every single wrinkle and pain i have. For years i lived life on the edge and did things my way and now my body is paying the price for it. But with each ach and pain i have a ton of good memories to go with them. When i left Bulverde i really wanted to leave it behind me, not because of the people i went to school with or school and i had nothing against the town. But i didnt have the childhood i think most people thought i had. My life back then was very hard, but i survived it. And its made me a stronger person. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Thankfully i did have a mother i loved me and i loved so dearly to help me survive those times. Now getting older and knowing we won't live forever because i've already lost so many people that i cared so much about. I think you have to go back some to where you came from if for no other reason but to make peace inside yourself. I know when we were young most likely we all did things we shouldn't have done, said things we shouldn't have said and behaved sometimes not in the best manner. I just hope that nothing i did when i was younger had a negative effect on anyone else.
I look forward to seeing who will respond to this or who may contact me now from my past.
Important note here....
I'm trying to locate my daughters father, she really wants to meet him.
Moon if you read this PLEASE contact me. Your daughter would love to see you. And shes certainly someone you would be proud of as she brings constant joy to me.
So Moon, if you've looked but weren't sure if you should make an attempt or not, its ok. She would just like to know who you are and maybe spend some time with you.
