Ellen's Story
Hi, Everyone,
You probably remember me as a quiet, polka dot in the classroom. Well, things have changed and I am quite the talker now!
After Sacred Heart School, I attended Maria Regina. After that it was off to St. John's where I obtained a BS in Elementary Education N-6 and Special Education K-12. Right out of college I began teaching, married, and am now almost officially divorced which is a blessing....
Every cloud has a silver lining and mine is Kerry 21, and Brian 19, my daughter and son. I am living alone now with my dog Shamrock, yes, another Irish name! I have a great relationship with my kids and love them dearly.
After teaching for many years, marrying, earning my MS in Reading with an Emphasis in Learning Disabilities, raising 2 children, returning to work , getting divorced, moving, and learning to enjoy lif...Expand for more
e for the very first time, I am presently trying to achieve 2 dreams: One dream is to give a voice to children who cannot speak for themselves, for whatever reason. The second dream is to meet my soulmate. I am doing lots of praying....... My first dream is on the horizon as I have just been accepted into Walden University to earn my PhD in Psychology. I am learning online now in an accredited school and am loving every minute of it! Working toward a degree in psychology was a surprise because I majored in Education in college. Well, God definitely has a plan for my live!
