Nicole's Story
Life
After high school I went to college in Washington state for three years, until my degree program (Criminal Justice) was cancelled my Junior year. I transferred to LSU, which has a great CJ program. But the transfer delayed my graduation, due to losing credits in the transfer. I gained those credits back at a community college and earned a Law Enforcement Technology degree, before entering LSU. al police department. I was one of only four females in the patrol division and was a training officer for new recruits. I met my husband, Rob, at work and we were married in 2003. I am now a step-mother (full-time) to two young daughters, Taylor (16) and Mason ("Macy" 14). Currently, I am a detective in the Domestic Violence Division. In 2007, I had a child, so now we have three active kids in the house!! In my (rare) spare time, I like to play with the kids, scrapbook, and play bunco with my girlfriends.
