Life
Here's an update if anyone is interested or remembers the people involved. The last few years have been busy for me. On Christmas morning, 2002, my mother died. She was 84. The following spring (Apr. 2003), I quit my job of 9 years and went back to school full time for my accounting degree, I thought it was time. In 2005, I was inducted in Phi Theta Kappa, an international honor society with a 3.8 gpa. Who would have thought I could do that well? I was a ccepted to Avilia University...Expand for more
in 2006 and graduated May 2009. (Why is it there aren't any colleges anymore, only universities?) I workeed for a year in accounting & then went to H&R Block to their hiring center as seasonal help. It has been fun and interesting. I am still married to the love of my life, who I met at a Loretto mixer in 1969, but didn't marry until 1984. We live in the Brookside area of KC and have the (ha) lifelong project of renovating/upgrading/maintaining our home. If anyone is intersted, that is.
