George's Story
Life
I currently live in Rochester, NY and have for the past 25+ years. After leaving Burney HS. I went to Indiana University and graduated in 1958 and then went to Ohio State for my MBA in 1959 and then started to work for Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis and later in Detroit. I worked for Ford Motor Company in Sales and Marketing for 9 years and then went to Xerox Corporation.. I started with Xerox in 1969 and spent my next 31 years with this outstanding company. I retired from Xerox in 2000. Along the way I was an Adjunct College Professor and am a full time College Professor at the University of Rochester in their William E Simon Graduate School of Business.I teach several Marketing related courses and a course in Psychology.l I am married and have 5 children and 3 grandchildren ( Plus my wife Patti has 4 ) so we have a pretty good size crew. et Cook have passed on ). They retired from farming and lived in Greensburg for a number of years. We are planning on moving to Ohio within the next 2-3 years or so and will probably live in Columbus, Ohio..Good Lord Willing. I would then probably teach at Ohio State. My youngest son ( got to brag just a little bit ) is a Senior at the University of Connecticut - UCONN - and is on the Varisty Tennis Team at UCONN, Co Captain this year of the team. ( We never played much Tennis at Burney did we? :):):):):) Every once in awhile when I come to Greensburg, I drop by Burney..Boy it certainly has changed a lot from the "Good Old Days" hasn't it? What a time we had at BHS and what a great crew we had too. And that includes the Great Teachers we had, but didnt know we had them until later on.
