My first job was at the Green River Star, where I got paid $1.00 an hour to almost everything but set type. What I remember most about it is Adrian Reynolds, who was a great teacher and the best boss I ever had..
When we left the house to go to my Confirmation (age 12), someone had written the F word on the sidewalk. My grandmother nearly had a spaz & washed it off with the hose before I could see it. Like I never had before.
