Cathy's Story
Life
I graduated from highschool in '97, went to a business school and got a job at Pfizer Inc in '99. I married Mike in '02 (the guy I was dating in highschool). We've been together for 10 years now!!!! We bought our 1st home in 2000. Our first "child" was our dog named Muddy. Then our second "child" came along...a 20 lb. cat named Rocky. I just graduated from Nursing School in May and will begin a job as a registered nurse in August. We had our first child (not an pet), a son named Nicolas, on June 1 of this year.
Workplace

got a job at Pfizer Inc in Groton in 1999 where I currently work as a Senior Project Associate doing my small part to help develop medicines. I work in Phase I Clinical Research working with the clincial sites around the world where we conduct clinical studies. Basically, I take care of the paperwork for the FDA and the European Regulatory Agency for these studies in the fields of Central Nervous System, Cardiovasular and Metabolic Diseases, and Infectious Disease. It is a wonderful job and an awesome place to work. It helped motivate me to go back to school and become a nurse. I will start working at a local hospital as a registered nurse in August.
