Lisa's Story
Life
After high school, I went to college and law school at UF. I got married after law school to Phillip Munyon. I met Phillip while interning in Tallahassee between my second and third years of law school. We got married in 1985 and have two children -- Lindsay, born on my birthday in 1989, and David, born in 1992. Both children attend a Christian school in Oviedo, a suburb of Orlando.

Workplace
After graduating from law school, I got a job at the State Attorney's Office in Orlando in 1985, where I worked for 10 years. I then went into private practice from 1995 - 2003. In May, 2003, Governor Bush appointed me as a circuit judge in the Ninth Judicial Circuit, comprising Orange and Osceola counties. I have been on the felony criminal bench since that time. I ran for re-election in 2004 and was unopposed. I do not have to run for re-election again until 2010.
