Carmen's Story
I retired 7 years ago and live in Arizona.
The photo I posted is of my wife of 41 years and myself. {We met in college and were married a month after graduation.} It was taken in August '09 at Sandia Peak in New Mexico.
We stopped in New Mexico on our trip back home from Connecticut where we have a summer home. Every year we take a different route between Arizona and Connecticut and back so we have seen much of the USA in the past few years.
We have 2 grown sons and 2 grand children, 1 boy and 1 girl.
One son lives in Ct and the other lives in Massachusetts.
I have been lucky and have had a great life since I left Port so many years ago!

y of 2008 I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. After 8 hours of surgery, months of chemo and radiation therapy, no trace of the cancer has shown up in any tests and scans.
Its a great feeling to be "reborn" again. Gives me a new perspective on life. Must enjoy every day as a gift!
Thank goodness for some great doctors I was lucky and had some of the best in the country treat me.
More excitement to come in January 2010 my youngest son Gregg will be visiting us here in the great Southwest. He intends to get married in Vegas and then spend a few days there with his new wife and then both will visit my wife and I here in Arizona....can't wait for this!! He is such a good son and his future wife is fantastic.
