Ray's Story
In brief:
I entered UM as a piano major after graduation but within 2 years was dragged into the military.
I spent three years in the Army Band, but served my 'overseas' tour of duty in Anchorage, not Saigon.
I returned to Detroit for a few years but never went back to music. Instead I became an electrical engineer (electricity, radio, etc. had always been totally fascinating to me)
I moved to Seattle in my late twenties and have remained here ever since.

the areas of medical ultrasound imaging and, later, safety electronic systems for commercial aviation.
I finally retired from Honeywell Aerospace in September '14.
I married twice, first to a German woman and later (& presently, 20 yrs) to a Swiss. I have no children.
I remain emotionally bonded to music, particularly classical music, but jazz as well. It is my true passion.
My sincere hope is for love and contentment in my, and your, remaining years on the planet!
