Stacey's Story
Life
I got out of the city like I always wanted and am now a country bumpkin:-) I live in a very small town, Great Cacapon, WV and love it. I am busy raising my sons (18, 19, 24, 29) although 2 are raised already and #2 son graduated University and moved to Atlanta (anyone want to hire a business/economics grad, smart, moral and creative?). My last 1 graduates this year and the nest will be empty (well maybe not I am foster parenting 2 girls, whats a few more?) I am very involved with my church (yes I said church I am a Messianic Jew), doing missions work in SC and our local area. I also volunteer for a program in our local HS for at risk kids which is a big need in our community. I still bring home strays however, my mom says I have gone from the 4 legged furry kind to the 2 legged human kind (I do both). I used to think I wanted a career but realized that I like being a mom more than anything and that job is more important. My husband Clay passed away 3 ye...Expand for more
ars ago,it was a devastating loss for us. My 4 boys, my volunteer program, my church and Y'shua are my priorities. I still keep in touch with some old friends from NY and some I would love to be in contact with again (you should know who you are). I look fondly on my years in Midwood, Hudde and PS99 and all the people that touched my life. I hope I touched some of your lives as well. Some of you used to call me Mom jokingly, I am now mom to a whole slew of kids in this little town and I take it seriously. If you dont now volunteer in your community, please do so! It does take a village to raise a child, I see the proof of that daily. One person making a difference in anothers life CAN make a difference in the whole world. Feel free to contact me anytime by email, I would love to hear from you!
Until then remember my motto.... I want to live my life so that every morning when I wake up Satan says, "Oh, no! She's awake again!"
Love to you all!
