Joe's Story
After graduation from high school I attended Auburn University for a year, during which time I met and married my wife in 1967. I began working in civil service at Tyndall AFB, Florida but was soon thereafter invited by Uncle Sam to join him in his endeavor of spreading democracy throughout the world.
I served four years in the U.S. Army before returning to Tynd...Expand for more
all AFB where I worked until my retirement in 2003. During that time I also served in the Army National Guard and later the Air Force Reserve, from which I retired in 2001.
My wife and I have three children (1 boy and 2 girls), five grandsons and two great grandsons.
My favorite past times (when I manage to get off my rear) are hiking, kayaking and bicycling.
